Team RaceDV
Every member of the RaceDV team has a deep interest in technology and innovation.
Whether it’s hybrid SUVs, sport bikes or car PC media and navigation systems, each
of us has a way of feeding our technology hunger. As a team, we now take pride in
developing a new technology that is tailored to our other passion – motorsport.
Our Formula 1 attendance combines to total over twenty events in Canada, the U.S.
and Motegi, Japan. We have spent countless hours behind the wheel of driving simulations
and on real tracks in real cars. RaceDV is the result of our four founding members’
years of interest in motorsport and technology innovation.
Kareem Sultan - President
Kareem manages RaceDV's business development and marketing activities, with over
six years of software development and production automation experience along with
studies in Electrical Engineering at Carleton University. He is a serial entrepreneur
who brings his passion for business, technology and motorsport to RaceDV.
Yet another F1 fan on the RaceDV team, Kareem has been an automotive technology
and motorsport fanatic all his life. He runs his own Formula 1 fantasy league and
podcast online.
His racing video gaming started many years ago with the first installment of the
Need For Speed series and Test Drive for PC. He currently hones his racing simulation
skills on Project Gotham Racing 3 for Xbox 360 and Forza Motorsport for Xbox. Kareem
has also attended lapping days at Shannonville.

Tim Wong – Head of Hardware Development
With a Mechanical Engineering degree from Carleton University, Tim is in charge
of the capture system hardware platform’s design and packaging. Tim is a long-term
motorsport fanatic. He has been following F1, WRC, MotoGP, Le Mans, DTM, and BTCC
since he was a child, and has logged countless hours of seat time in the Gran Turismo
series for Playstation and Playstation2. Video games and television aren't the sum
of his motoring hobbies, though.
Tim has real track time under his belt in his performance-modified Honda Civic at
Shannonville, a nearby track where evening lapping days are a safe way to hone one’s
driving skill. Tim was also a member of the Carleton Formula SAE team when they
placed 27th out of 134 teams, Carleton's best ever. RaceDV is the perfect place
for Tim to apply his passion for motorsport and know-how in motoring technology.

Rob Villeneuve – Head of Software Development
Armed with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from Carleton University and over
seven years of software development experience, Rob is putting all his skills to
use at RaceDV. He is responsible for the software development of all of RaceDV's
numerous systems and software applications. RaceDV is a great place for Rob to flex
his software development muscle and apply it to his passion for motorsport.
Rob's passion for racing started at a young age, while attending short track open
wheel, stock car and Dirt races with his parents. Rob is also an F1 fan; with the
last name Villeneuve, he has to be. Rob has ventured onto Shannonville raceway for
an evening lapping day, but after having flat-spotted a set of tires on the track,
he has declared that his racing skills are best left in the virtual world. His desire
for racing is now fulfilled with Project Gotham Racing 3 on Xbox 360 with racing
wheel, HDTV and all.

for many years, building an excellent relationship with Ferenc and spending many
lunch hours brainstorming all kinds of inventions and ideas. Now, with Rob, Tim
and Kareem as partners, Ferenc is ready to bring RaceDV's technology and innovation
to the mainstream motorsport community.
Ferenc always likes to try new things, gadgets, and anything to do with technology,
from GPS to home automation and everything in between. Passionate about advances
in technology and always looking for ways to make something better, Ferenc is excited
to be on a team whose intent is to bring RaceDV's technology to a market where the
customers are as passionate about motorsport as the team itself. RaceDV is where
Ferenc brings his business experience and lives his passion for technology.
